It has to start somewhere
I wouldn’t call myself a writer—not in the sense that I aim to write every day, tell a story, or follow a clear plan. Aside from this newly launched website (as of February 2025), I also run a visual archive on Substack (more on that later) and manage several social media accounts—though most of those will likely disappear soon.
I want to remain independent, free from Meta-driven commercial content and influencer-style posts that, 90% of the time, have nothing meaningful to say. Pretentious? I don’t think so. Our society desperately needs independent thinking, a pushback against the ever-expanding mainstream. The banality of life on a smartphone screen is mind-blowing. Twenty years ago, this would have been unimaginable, yet here we are—fully immersed in a reality where pretending to be someone you’re not and measuring your identity by likes and followers has become the norm.
I just needed to get that off my chest.
That said, everyone is welcome here. The goal is to let this space grow into an honest portfolio of the things I truly care about. Right now, that’s analog photography (with some digital work here and there), picking up where I left off years ago.
The portfolio will gradually expand—some sections will come with more context, while others will simply speak for themselves. It has to start somewhere, after all.
